Ulta and Sephora Haul!

Ulta and Sephora Haul!

It’s been a hot minute since I last made a haul post, and I got plenty of goodies at Ulta. I had a 20% off everything coupon and was earning 3x points, so went a little haywire. Sephora was also having a 4x points deal, and I couldn’t resist that, either. I did buy everything at Ulta except for the few Sephora-only brands to make better use of the Ulta deals. Ready for the goodies?

The perfume:

Prada Candy Florale: I got a sample of this a few months back and loved it. I’m not sure why, but different places list slightly different notes. From Fragrantica: Top note: Limoncello. Heart note: Peony. Base notes: Caramel, benzoin, honey, musk. From Sephora and Ulta: Top Note: Sparkling Cedrat. Heart note: Cosmos. Base notes: Benzoin, caramel, white musk.

Free gift with purchase: This gorgeous olive green travel bag (available with any $40 perfume purchase). I believe the deal is still going on!

The sheet masks:

Memebox I Dew Care Let’s Get Sheet Faced sheet mask set: Such a great name! There was a display case showing Memebox and Nooni products, and I just had to try some new K-Beauty products.

Sheet masks from Tonymoly, Skinfood, SNP, Sephora Collection, Too Cool for School: Some of these are new to me; some are things I tried ages ago.

The face masks/kits:

Skinfood Rice Mask and Watermelon Mask: BOGO 50% off. I was on the hunt for some new non-clay wash-off masks, and both of these caught my attention.

Fresh Skincare Matchmaker Set: I was looking to pick up the Fresh Rose Face Mask and forgot that it was so expensive. I saw this set for $6.00 more and asked a Sephora employee if this came with the full-size mask. It did! This set includes Fresh’s Soy Face Cleanser and Lotus Youth Preserve Face Cream, along with your choice of the Rose Face Mask, Umbrian Clay Purifying Mask, and Vitamin Nectar Vibrancy-Boosting Mask.

Caudalie  Grape Glow Getters set (500 point perk): I’ve been wanting to try more Caudalie products! This includes the Instant Detox Mask, Resveratol Eye Lifting Balm, Instant Foaming Cleanser, and Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet.

The non-mask skincare:

Murad Clarifying Body Spray: This is one of the first products I’ve seen that targets body acne without being a cleanser. I was also earning 5x points on Murad!

Murad Rapid Relief Acne Spot Treatment: I like trying new acne products, especially treatments.

Mario Badescu Drying Lotion: Another treatment. Everyone raves about this.

Mario Badescu Facial Water with Rosewater: Lately I’ve been looking for things to freshen up my skin throughout the day, and I’ve been loving calming scents like rose, cucumber, green tea, and aloe. I think I’ll keep this in my work bag – I’m always rushing around to catch the train!

Clarins Toning Lotion (normal to dry skin): I bought a different toner a few weeks ago, and even though it was from a K-Beauty brand, it ended up having alcohol in it.

Nooni Snowflake Jelly Cleansing Oil: This packaging looks more like a cleansing balm, but as the brand also had a balm next to this, I decided to try it.

The skincare freebies (from Sephora):

Fresh Vitamin Nectar Moisture Glow Face Cream: You can usually get some free samples at Sephora by talking to the employees, either by simply asking or talking about other related products. The Sephora employee talking to me about the Fresh mask set gave me this to try.

I also got an email about getting a set of eight free samples with a $40 purchase in-tore, but they were already sold out. The woman checking me out instead gave me a handful of freebies from behind the counter that included:

Dr. Brandt Pores No More

Murad City Skin Age Defense Broad Spectrum SPF 50 (x2)

First Aid Beauty Skin Rescue Deep Cleanser

Philosophy Purity Made Simple Pore Extractor Exfoliating Clay Mask (x2)

L’Occitane Divine Cream

The makeup:

Essence Eyeliner Pen and 2 in 1 Eyeshadow & Liner in She’s Got the Mauve: BOGO 50% off. I wanted to try more Essence products again, since most of their products I bought were from when I was living in Germany eight-ish years ago. The shadow stick looked very pretty and exactly up my alley, and I think I’ll need a new eyeliner soon.

Japonesque Eye Shadow Crease and Eye Detailer Medium brushes: BOGO 50% off. I have a few old Japonesque brushes that I love but are wearing out, and decided to try some more.

Stila Liquid Lipstick in Baci: This is one of my favorite liquid lipstick formulas, and I was earning 5x points on lip products. This shade seems like the perfect middle ground between an everyday nude and mauve-y pink. I think it’ll be a great color coming into fall.

Overall, I’m feeling pretty good about how much money I saved and what I got for free! I will admit, I spent a lot of money, but for what I got in this haul, I’m pretty happy. I don’t think there’s anything I’d want or need to buy soon, but I do have a ton of points saved up at Ulta!

Did you try any of these products? Do you want any reviews? Are you purchasing anything during Ulta’s big sale or did you already get anything from them or Sephora? Did you manage to get your hands on one of those gift bags, and were you happy with them?

-xo, Andi
