Empties – March 2018

Hey there! I’m back with more empties! This is late, I know, but better late than never! Honestly, though, expect my April empties next week. I’m continuing my trend of double empties in certain categories, too!The hair:

Garnier Whole Blends Olive Conditioner: I didn’t like this as much as the others from this line that I’ve tried. It was a little too thick and hard to work into my hair, and it didn’t do as much as the others.
Would I repurchase? No.

Marajo Deep Treatment Butter: This was a pretty good conditioner that I got from my Sephora Play box. You can read about it there.
Would I repurchase? No – I’m cheap when it comes to conditioners!

The body:

Murad body acne spray: I love dealing with body acne using toner-like products. They’re way faster and easier to use than jumping in the shower twice a day. This is in a spray can, but I felt like spraying my back was a little difficult so I’d spray it onto a cotton round and apply that. It was pretty good, especially with not drying out my skin.
Would I repurchase? No – it’s way too expensive!

CVS Healthy Hands Cream: I ran out of hand cream at work, stopped at the CVS around the corner, and found that they don’t carry my HG at-work hand cream. I wasn’t too fond of it. It didn’t moisturize my hands enough and it had a few little beads that wouldn’t sink into my skin. Plus I developed some weird flaky spots under my rings (which I wear every day). Not sure if that was from the cream, or if the cream just couldn’t prevent it (it has AHAs so it should do something).
Would I repurchase? No.

The skincare:

Nooni Deep Cleanse Snowflake Jelly Cleansing Oil: Read my review here. This was pretty good, but a bit gimmicky.
Would I repurchase? No. I like trying more cleansing oils!

Dr. Brandt Poredermabrasion Pore Perfecting Exfoliator: I’ve wavered between liking and disliking this. At times, I find exfoliation really fun, and this product helped. At other times, I could care less. It was just another step in my routine. It felt a bit too harsh at times, as well, so less enjoyable because of that.
Would I repurchase? No.

Dermalogica Phyto Replenish Oil: I enjoyed this oil. It wasn’t my favorite, but my skin did seem to like it. And I loved adding oils into my morning skincare routine, especially with some of the cold weather we had this winter. It wasn’t heavy-handed with citrus, which can slightly irritate my skin.
Would I repurchase? Probably not – I’d probably be better with a cheaper oil.

First Aid Beauty Hydrating Serum: Part of my Project Pan. I’m glad to have used this up! I was a little surprised when it went, though, as I thought that there was a lot more product in it. The serum was a little thick and didn’t apply well without using an essence first. I enjoyed my sample of it in a squeeze tube over the pump on the bottle, as I could control how much product went on.
Would I repurchase? Probably not.

Shiseido Benefiance Wrinkle Resist 24 Intensive Eye Contour Cream: What a mouthful! Actually, I really loved this! I’ve given up with eye creams for dark circles, and am starting to get some fine lines. This was also incredibly thick and creamy, which worked wonders against the cold air this winter!
Would I repurchase? I already have!

The makeup:

Benefit Porefessional: I don’t really care much about filling in pores. It seemed like an okay primer, but just not entirely meant for me.
Would I repurchase? No,

Burberry Fresh Glow primer in Nude Glow: At first, I thought this was magical and gave my skin a great glow. But my foundation is more of a natural finish on its own, and I feel like I was attributing too much to the primer. I loved using this most of the time.
Would I repurchase? I think I need another sample before committing myself to a $48 primer.

Essence Waterproof Eyeliner Pen: I can’t remember the exact name due to it rubbing away. But this was a very good pen liner, especially for the price. I used to love the Revlon liner as my everyday drugstore liner, but this might replace it. It was black enough and a good tip size, and it lasted a while before drying out.
Would I repurchase? Yes.

Neutrogena Moisture Smooth Color Stick in Rich Raisin: Also part of my project pan. I liked the formula and color, but maybe not both at once. The finish is almost a little glossy, and the color is bold enough on its own. But it was also incredibly comfortable and easy to apply.
Would I repurchase? No, probably not.

Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick in Protest: My final project pan product that I finished off this month! I loved this lipstick – a great formula and a very pretty everyday color.
Would I repurchase? Yes, if I could.

I’m feeling pretty excited by finishing off so many products again this month!
