Project Pan Finale

Hi guys! It’s time for my project pan (a collab with Rossy at AyR Galaxy).

If you want to know more about the products I picked or the rules, check out my intro post here!

The body:

The Body Shop Body Butters in Almond and Passion Fruit: Passion Fruit was EMPTIED in update #4. Almond is nearly done, I just wish I had another week or two to finish this off.

The Body Shop Moringa Shower Gel: I’m still not done this… about a quarter left. I’m never buying jumbo sized shower gel again. I’ve currently got a ton of soaps I want to use instead, so this is going on the back burner for a bit.

Burt’s Bees Coconut Foot Cream: Barely touched. It makes my feet feel a bit wet and cold in the winter.

Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration SPF 30: Untouched. This is old enough that I’m going to destash.

The Body Shop Shea Hand Cream: Nearly finished. Again, just another couple weeks… I got down between the bottom two lines of text.

The cleansers and toners:

Fresh Soy Face Cleanser: mini was EMPTIED in Update #1. The larger size still has a month or two of use out of it.

Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel: EMPTIED in Update #4.

Skin Laundry Balancing Antioxidant Toner: EMPTIED! Finally!

Kiehl’s Cucumber Herbal Alcohol-Free Toner Kiehls’ Ultra Facial Toner: I got done about two thirds of this.

Formula 10.0.6 So Totally Clean Micellar Water: Nearly done, just a bottomful left.

The masks:

Skinfood Rice Wash-off Mask: EMPTIED!

Peter Thomas Roth Black Moor Mud mask: This will last forever. I’m seriously like a quarter of the way done this tub.

Skinfood Egg White Pore Hot Steam Pack: Destashed.

The serums, treatments, and moisturizers:

First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Hydrating Serum: EMPTIED in Update #2.

Mario Badescu Drying Lotion La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo: Another little bit used. This stuff lasts forever, as well.

Skinfood Peach Sake Emulsion: EMPTIED in Update #4.

Belif The True Cream – Aqua Bomb: EMPTIED in Update #1.

Belif The True Cream – Moisture Bomb: Nearly finished this. Again, just another two weeks.

Missha Snail Cream: I still have a good bit left in this. I’ve been really lazy with washing my face at night, and it’s not super moisturizing, especially with how it’s getting cooler out.

Neutrogena Clear Face SPF 30 Supergoop Everyday Sunscreen: Barely touched.

The eye makeup:

BareMinerals Gorgeous Eyes Unlocked eyeshadows: I barely used these. There was a point where I realized that their texture is a bit weird from all the glycerin. And I just stopped using them. But I hit pan in all of the shades and got a decent bit of use from them.

Fyrinnae eyeshadows in Snow Leopard, Sloth Snuggles, Steampunk, and Polar Bear: Polar Bear is EMPTIED! This is the second eyeshadow I’ve ever fully panned. And I hit side pan in Snow Leopard.

Estee Lauder eyeshadow quad: I also hit side pan in the pale shade. All these pans got larger (and there’s a good dip in the dark brown shade).

Cargo Cosmetics eyeliner: EMPTIED! The nub is smaller than the cap, and it got hard to both use and sharpen, so I’m calling this done.

Nyx Jumbo Eye Pencil in Iced Mocha: I didn’t get much use from this. I only sharpened it once since the last update.

Ofra Eyebrow pencil in Universal Taupe: EMPTIED in Update #2.

The face makeup:

Smashbox Primer Water: I went through a lot more of this, mainly because I was using it as setting spray. So I’m almost down to the bottom of the circle on front.

Nyx Dark Circle Corrector: I hit side pan and really widened it up!

Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Foundation: I surprised myself when I realized I used about half of this this past year. I don’t always use foundation, and I bought this in my winter shade in October, so I’ve been using that instead. Looks like I’ll need to use this next year to finally finish off a foundation for good!

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Spotlight in Opal: EMPTIED!

Lorac Beauty and the Beast blush palette: I still haven’t hit pan in here, but I did get close in the top shade (See Beyond).

The lip products: EMPTIED!

Neutrogena lipstick in Rich Raisin: EMPTIED in Update #1.

Urban Decay Revolution lipstick in Protest: EMPTIED in Update #2.

Clarins Instant Light Lip Perfector: EMPTIED in Update #2.

Estee Lauder Pure Color Lipstick in Pink Parfait: EMPTIED in Update #3.

The perfume: EMPTIED!

DKNY City Woman: EMPTIED! I was honestly really surprised by how quickly I finished this off since the last update.

Tocca Florence: EMPTIED in Update #3.

The hair:

Eva NYC dry shampoo: Can’t detect a change here. I get some use from this, but honestly I’m probably never buying a full size dry shampoo again.

OGX argan hair oil: There is still so much product left in here… I really need to get better at using hair oil more, because I can’t imagine keeping this for another couple years.

Tony & Guy Cleanse shampoo: Barely used, again.

The results:

I started this project pan with 56 items (including separate pans). I emptied 18 of those, and destashed 1. That’s only about a third of the products. There are a couple more products that are nearly done, as well, and I can’t wait to finish those up, too! This really opened my eyes to how long it takes to use up products. It’s crazy thinking about how certain products will last me another couple years based solely on how much product I went through in these couple months.

I  chose a bunch of unopened products in this project pan, rather than things I’d been using when I’d started panning. I wish I’d included those products that were nearly done, partly because some of those lasted longer than I thought and partly because I’d have “accomplished” more here. I’ve gone through a ton of empties in 2018, but very few of them are part of this project pan.

If you haven’t tried a project pan, I’d recommend you do so! It really opens your eyes to your collection in different ways.

Don’t forget to check out Rossy’s post here!

  1. omg i made my post like infinitely longer than yours haha, i like the layout of yours, will have to try this next year lol.
you did so good! I realized as well just how long it takes to finish certain products, so I will definitely keep this in mind next time i try to purchase a ton of products, even though i technically went all of out for my birthday in october LOL.
I’m also super impressed that you were able to empty all the lipstick and all those eyeshadows!! i didn’t get that close!
thanks so much for letting me join you on this project pan, i will most likely continue mine next year with other products plus whatever i didn’t empty this year 🙂
